RDM

Ruth Doan MacDougall is a prolific writer!  While she works diligently on her novels and on the hiking guidebooks that her father, Daniel Doan, began and that she continues to maintain, she writes in many other formats as well.

Reflections are short essays that arise from letters and e-mails that Ruth receives. Communications from fans and friends frequently stir old memories or offer an opportunity for her to make new connections. These reflections first appear on the HOME page and are then archived in this section.

Ruth's Neighborhood, Ruth's blog about life in her neighborhood and the surrounding area, has been a part of this Web site since the beginning.. The oldest entries are "on vacation" at this time; they will return in some format later in 2012.

The Travelogues were written recently from journals and diaries that Ruth kept at the times these trips were taken.

The Milestones section is reserved for Ruth's reflections on life-changing events.
